John Johnson
Content DirectorJohn collaborates with subject matter experts throughout the company to produce relevant and topical content for the Sg2 Intelligence team. Although his primary focus is on spend management, John also conducts research throughout the health care industry.
John spent more than two decades as a journalist, first as a sports reporter in Boston before transitioning to the trade press where he was introduced to health care topics. After founding his own content agency and tech website (RFID24-7), John re-entered the corporate world as a senior writer for Gartner, a Connecticut-based research and consulting firm. His primary areas of coverage included health care, life sciences, retail, manufacturing and logistics.
John is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, where he majored in journalism.
John is passionate about contributing to the reimagining of health care, and about health equity issues.
